From the President’s Console: November 2000

Posted November 2000

Here’s hoping you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration.

As we steam our way towards the year end, Phyllis has penned a wonderful overview of the inventory physical counting process to ease your way in this necessary chore.

In an update from one of our recent “raving fans” initiatives, I’d like to thank all of you who’ve taken the time to fill out and fax back our “How was your Service” surveys. We’ve had an overwhelmingly positive response and learned that indeed there are a number of raving fans out there. We’ll continue this initiative and keep our eye out for that allusive “raging fan”. Truth be known, only one bad support experience separates a raving fan from a raging fan.

One of the reasons that we’ve enjoyed tremendous success in our customer support department is the quality and dedication of our people. We are always looking for people who are good with computers, familiar with the welding supply and industrial gas business and looking for a career with great potential. Of course, we’re not looking to lure good people away from your business, but if you know someone who you think would fit well with us, please consider passing our name on to them. Resumes can be faxed to 614-875-7761, or emailed to jobs@infonetx.com.

There is one other way we can use your help. We all realize the importance of faxing in this modern day and age, but the most informative part of a fax is often omitted, the all-important cover page. We receive faxes here every day at INFONETICS and many times we are clueless (for a while – we always figure it out eventually) as to where a fax came from, and for whom it is intended. Please, always include this information on your cover sheet so your fax can get to the proper party to best assist you in your business.
