INFONETICS in the Great Northwest

Posted February 2002

Known for it’s rainfall, it’s timber industry, and for being the birthplace of the late Nirvana lead singer Kurt Cobain, the city of Aberdeen, Washington now also serves as the home for the newest INFONETICS customer. Coastal Containment Welding Supply signed on with INFONETICS, the industry leader in software systems for independent welding supply distributors, late in 2001 and has been up and running ever since.

Founded in 1990 by owner Jerry Thompson, Coastal Containment Welding Supply specializes not only in welding supplies, but also has found a niche in environmental supplies. Because of their proximity to Grays Harbor and the Pacific Ocean, Coastal Containment found that the same customers in need of industrial gases and supplies also were in need of environmental clean-up products. The products offered by Coastal help to insure the safety of the heavily traveled waterways from such common hazards as petroleum spills, chemical leaks, and similar problems.

Currently operated by Jerry, his wife Cheryl, and a staff of sales and delivery people, Coastal Containment Welding Supply is looking forward to serving the needs of the Northwest for many years to come. With an INFONETICS system running their business they’ve got just the tool they need to lead them into the future.

Please welcome Jerry, Cheryl, and the rest of the staff at Coastal Containment Welding Supply to the INFONETICS family of users!
