Email used to be simple. You sent an email, it got there. But that was back before hackers, scammers and phishers got into the email game and ruined it for everyone. Thanks to the daily onslaught of unwanted emails, email service providers have become more aggressive in flagging emails as SPAM in an effort to protect us from potentially dangerous emails — especially emails with attachments. But that extra-wide safety net often catches legitimate emails, too, including INFOMAILs.
While nothing can guarantee that every legitimate email you send will stay out of the SPAM folder, there are some steps you can take to increase the chances your INFOMAILs will get to the INBOX where they belong. One step is called allowlisting — letting email servers know that emails from specific addresses are legitimate — and we’ve written an INFOTIP about it: Check it out HERE!.
