With three children ranging in age from 15 months to 11 years old who oftentimes frequented the office, the last thing that Patricia Sanders needed was a computer system that gave her nightmares. Unfortunately, when Patricia and her husband Nunny took over Double S Welding Supply almost three years ago that’s exactly what they got when they inherited the wrong computer system from someone else. In November of 2001 that all changed when INFONETICS came to Livingston.
In May of 1999 Patricia and Nunny, a certified welder himself, purchased the welding supply portion of an existing business and thus started Double S. Since then they’ve been serving the welding supply needs of Polk County and the surrounding areas. While local gas pipelines are a particular specialty that Double S serves, their real specialty is customer service. A real Mom & Pop shop in every sense of the phrase, Patricia and Nunny make a point of going out of their way to satisfy the customer’s needs. Whether it’s making special deliveries of gases or products on a non-delivery day, lending a hand on a welding repair, or just taking an extra moment to help a walk-in customer, Double S is building a reputation for success in Southeast Texas.
