From the President’s Console: December 2002

The INFONETICS family evolves! We’re happy to announce additions to not just one, but three INFONETICS employees families.

Dawn Mechling gave birth to Nathanael Paul Mechling on November 6th at 4:06pm. Weighing in at 8 lbs, 6 oz, “Nate” is the third child of Dawn and Paul. After a short time off, Dawn has returned to work in her new role as Software Support Specialist and will be tele-commuting from her home in Columbus, OH.

Less than a week later, Daniel C. Betz, III, made an early appearance on November 12th at 1:24pm. Weighing 5lbs, 9.8oz, little “Trey” caused some anxious moments for first time parents Daniel and Karon, both INFONETICS employees, as complications required a touch of surgery and a couple of extra weeks in the hospital. After a quick recovery, he has joined mom at home and even made his first trip to visit coworkers at the office. Karon will likewise be tele-commuting as she embarks on her new role as work-at-home mom and part-time web developer.

Not one to be left out, Jeff Roope got into the act by taking Nicole Ann Fesler as his bride on November 16th. Jeff and Nicole honeymooned in Cancun, and reside in Columbus. Reports have it that they are taking seriously the warning on drinking the water at INFONETICS office given the aforementioned pregnancies!

Congratulations to all three families on these new additions.

In closing, we’d like to give thanks to everyone that returned the recent INFONETICS User’s Group questionnaire. We got a great response and have selected a venue for our February meeting. We’ll see you in DALLAS!!!
