INFOTERM-61800 Introduced!

Posted December 2002

INFOTERM is part terminal, part PC/Workstation. This small footprint PC/Workstation sports a 1.8 GHz Intel Celeron4 processor, 128 megabytes of DDR RAM, a 20 GB hard drive, CD-ROM, and built-in audio, video, and networking in a package that’s only 3.5″ high x 11″ wide x 13.5″ deep. Fitting neatly under it’s 15″ color monitor, it makes and ideal choice for use in areas where desk and floor space are at a premium.

INFOTERM Pre-loaded with our popular INFONET/PC networking suite, the INFOTERM connects to the INFONETICS Unix server via 10/100 high speed ethernet network, or standard serial lines at up to 56KB. This means it can replace existing dumb terminals and use either serial or CAT5 network cabling!

Running Microsoft Windows ’98 (2nd edition) it can be loaded with any of today’s popular PC software packages; Microsoft Office XP (Small Business Edition) for word processing and spreadsheet; Internet Access for e-mail and web surfing; CD-ROM based parts lists/literature from your manufacturers/vendors, just to name a few.

In short it can do everything your typical dumb terminal can do, plus everything you would want from a state of the art PC/Workstation. And in a small, affordable package that’s space saving, easy to set up, and ready to go right out of the box.

If you’re looking for more in a PC/Workstation, consider upgrading to the “plus” model. Twice the RAM, twice the hard drive capacity, bigger 17″ monitor and CD-Writer for making CD’s, all for only $100 more than our standard model.

So if you are looking for additional terminals, your first PC/Workstation, or even a wholesale replacement of your dumb terminal fleet with networked PCs, think INFOTERM. It’s the answer to your terminal and PC needs!
