This month, a couple of housekeeping items.
First, spring is soon to be on us (I hope), and as with every year it will bring thunderstorms and lightning strikes. Now may be the time for an overall hardware review to check out your surge protectors, both electrical (ISOBAR’s) and communications (INLINE RS232). If you need any help or advice on how to go about this, just give us a call, and we’ll review what to check out. A little effort now may save a whole lot of downtime later when that nasty lightning strike hits.
Finally, last call for software upgrades to Version 2.18B. It looks like we will be soon starting on our next major software upgrade, Version 2.19, and it’s time to get your software system current, or forever hold your peace. If you’re not sure what version you’re on, simply log on and check out the Version/Date stamp on the INFONETICS logon banner. If there is no Version/Date, that means you’re system is so out of date, that there’s no telling how long its been since you’ve been updated. We’ll be officially obsoleting Ver.2.16 and prior as of the next release, so get on board now by giving me a call immediately!
