From the President’s Console: May 2001

INFOGROUP meetings are in the news again this month. We’ve just concluded yet another successful Inventory Training class at our offices here in Grove City, Ohio, led this time by software support specialist, Phyllis Young. And plans are underway for a full-blown Users Group meeting next month. See the enclosed sign-up form, and send it in as soon as possible as it looks like the meeting could fill up quickly.

Many of you will recall Mothers Day as the weekend of the Tour Of the Scioto River Valley (TOSRV) bicycle tour here in central/southern Ohio. My wife Mary and I once again rode in, and completed this grueling event. Actually, the 100 mile ride down on Saturday was a piece of cake as we were blessed by dry weather, mild temperatures, and a strong tailwind. It was almost not like working, and we completed the ride in record time (for us) of 6 hours of pedaling. Sunday morning though greeted us with a moderate headwind, freezing temperatures (literally) and a strenuous ride. All said, it took an additional hour of pedaling to make it home. Our sincerest thanks go to Mike and Mo Coburn of Bickett Machine & Gas who put us up (or should I say put up with us) Saturday evening.
