From the President’s Console: October 1997

Posted October 1997

Greetings from Grove City,

With the annual NWSA convention coming up later this month, Jim Conlin and Phyllis Young are busy polishing up our booth, and looking forward to getting to see many of you once again.

On a personal note, I’ve decided to try a more challenging long distance endurance sport; marathon running. As most of the regular readers of this column know, I’ve been involved in long distance bicycling for the past few years. In an attempt to push the envelope a little farther out (and stave off old man time just a little longer), I’m going to attempt my first 5K run at next month’s Columbus Marathon. My long term goal would be to participate in the actual marathon version next year at this time. If any of you are currently runners with any advise for this novice, please send me a fax or e-mail (djf@infonetx.com).

The thought for the month (heard recently from a prospective customer);

“THE BIGGEST PROBLEM WITH COMMUNICATION IS THE ILLUSION THAT IT HAS OCCURRED.”

If you’re being frustrated by something in your INFONETICS system, and haven’t called us on it, please give a thought to giving me a call and letting me know what’s troubling you. We can’t help if we don’t know there’s a problem. We’ll do the best we can to get to the bottom of it.

On the otherhand, those of you who don’t call, we’re confident you’re just as pleased as punch with your INFONETICS system, and we appreciate your patronage and continued confidence in INFONETICS.
